Board

The Board is a visual way to organise the queries in your workspace. Instead of a flat list, you arrange queries on a board so the things you work with most are easy to find and grouped the way you think about them.

What the board is for

  • Curate the queries you care about into a layout that makes sense to you.
  • Find things faster — keep frequently used reports and endpoints front and centre.
  • Personalise your view of the workspace without changing the queries themselves.

Adding queries to the board

You add a query to the board to place it onto your layout. Queries that you haven't placed remain available in the Queries view; the board is simply an organised surface on top of them.

Saving your arrangement

Your board layout and personal board preferences are saved, so the arrangement you build persists between sessions. Re-open the board and it's exactly as you left it.

How it relates to the rest of Kvery

The board is about organisation, not execution:

  • To run a query, open it in the editor.
  • To present results to others, build a dashboard.
  • To expose data programmatically, publish a query via the public API.

Tips

  • Place your most-used queries where you'll reach for them first.
  • Use the board alongside tags — tags categorise queries, the board arranges them spatially.
