Tags

Tags are colour-coded labels you can attach to queries and to group members. They make large workspaces easy to scan and filter.

Tagging queries​

Add one or more tags to a query to group it by topic, owner, environment, or any scheme that suits your team — for example finance, production, or daily. In the queries list you can filter by tag to quickly find related queries.

Tagging members​

Tags can also be attached to group members, which is handy for grouping people by team or function.

Tag colours​

Each tag has a colour. You can change a tag's colour at any time, and the new colour is reflected everywhere the tag is shown. Consistent colours make the queries list and member list far quicker to read at a glance.

Managing tags​

  • Create a tag by adding it to a query or member.
  • Recolour a tag from the group's tag settings.
  • Delete a tag to remove it from everything it was attached to.
tip

Pick a small, consistent set of tags early. A handful of well-chosen tags is far more useful than dozens of one-off labels.
